Kansas Infant-Toddler Services

Early Intervention consists of services and supports for infants, toddlers, and preschool children who have special needs due to developmental delays or disabilities. Early Intervention also provides support services to families that help them develop their child's potential.

How do I get services?

Funding allocations to networks are based on the number of children served and 3 year average of live births in the service area. At age 3, if the developmental delay has not been resolved, the child may enter IDEA Part B Special Education services administered by the Kansas State Department of Education.
